BROCCOLI IN HOT CHINESE SAUCE


Broccoli is very tasty as well as a good source of nutrients, it is low in calories but full of vitamins. Daily intake of broccoli may improve your general health.

INGREDIENT

Broccoli florets 1 cup
Cleaned water chestnut 4
Red chili sauce 2 tbsp
Tomato sauce 1 tbsp
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tsp
Hoisin sauce 2 tbsp
Corn flour dissolved in ½ water
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 tbsp
Refine oil 2 tbsp

PROCESS

Heat oil in high flame, add garlic paste and fry for few seconds
Add broccoli and salt and stir fry
Add all sauces and chestnuts
Add sugar and ½ cup water, cook for 10 minutes
Add corn flour mixture and stirring continuously to make a thick gravy
Serve with fried rice
