One of the most popular, all time favorite snacks is French fries. I am introducing the secrete process of preparing French fries at home as appetizing and crispy as you taste in restaurants. Enjoy this lip smacking fries with cheese dip.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking time – 15 minutes
Serve for - 4 persons
Large size potatoes - 6
Salt to taste
Oil for fry
You can add fresh chopped mint leaves to enrich the taste.
Cheese cube - 4 (each 25 gm)
Mixed herbs - 1 tsp
Paprika powder or black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Smashed garlic (optional) - 4
Mustard powder - 1 tsp
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Peel off the potatoes and cut into long thin finger shape, must not be too much thin or thick.
Cleanse with water properly and submerge in water for 5 minutes, add salt in the water.
Drain water and place potatoes on a large flat tray or a cleaned cotton cloth and let it get adjusted with room temperature, you can keep it under the Sun or fan to make it dry quickly.
Heat oil in low flame and add potatoes to fry a little, only for 5 minutes or until light golden color is seen.
Again place into the same tray, on the bed of kitchen pepper to remove extra oil.
Let it be adjusted with room temperature and keep it in fridge at least 6 hours.
Now deep fry in high heat.
Put in a bowl and sprinkle salt and shake to mix the salt.
Melt cheese cube in a very low heat.
Add all ingredients except corn flour.
Mix well, now add corn flour and stir well , no lump should be formed.
Add 1 cup water and little salt, stir well, let the mixture to be little dry.
Serve the sauce with fried potatoes.
