Everybody suffers from acute acidity problem due to improper eating habits. Various factors like consuming spicy foods, drinking alcohol regularly, nervous tension, lack of exercise cause acidity in human body. One can get rid of acidity by maintaining a proper diet plan. Sip Water : Sip lukewarm water prior to retire for bed at night as well as sip water in the in the early hours of morning on unfilled stomach. Get rid of the habit to drink water throughout or instantly after taking the meal as it may create indigestion problem.
Milk : Milk contains huge source of calcium which is useful for preventing formation of acid in the stomach. It is better to sip a glass of cold milk than boiling milk. If anyone faces acidity problem after taking a meal, then he/she should intake a glass of cold milk to appease your stomach.

Apple Cider Vinegar : Blend one table spoon of raw and natural apple cider vinegar with four ounces of water and drink that prior to take the meals every time to combat with acidity.
Aloe Vera Juice : Taking Aloe Vera Juice is the best solution to prevent acidity in the stomach. Just blend one ounce of aloe vera juice with 2 ounces of water and drink daily two times.
Basil Leaves : Basil leaves are also very useful to fighting acidity and provide quick relief. If you feel acidic, just eat some basil leaves. Besides, one can also put 5 or 6 basil leaves in a glass of water and boil it and drink it on a regular basis.
Ginger : Ginger consists of anti-inflammation features which can fight with acidity in a superior way. If you intake the juice of a ginger, it will defuse stomach acids. While feeling acidic just take the slice of ginger and chew it.
Jaggery : Jaggery contains good source of potassium to be used in controlling the acids formed in the stomach. So take jiggery to get relief from the acidity problem.
Buttermilk : Blend black pepper powder with a glass of butter milk and drink at frequent intervals to prevent acidity.
