Welbilt Bread Machine Recipe for Pizza Dough

Everyone loves pizza, but it isn’t always affordable to order or easy to make from scratch. If you have a Welbilt bread maker, though, it is not only budget-friendly but it also takes the gooey mess of making the dough out of the equation as well. This recipe is a little different but gets rave reviews.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup beer
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 ¼ cups bread flour
  • 1 tbsp yeast

Put the wet ingredients in the machine, then add the dry ones, leaving yeast until the end. Do not let yeast touch the wet ingredients. Use the dough cycle. After the cycle is complete, take the dough from the machine and press it into a 12” pizza pan. Coat the dough lightly with vegetable oil, then cover with a cloth. Let it rise in a warm place for about 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Top the dough with sauce and desired toppings. Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is gooey and the crust is golden brown. If you prefer a thin crust, you can split the recipe in half.
